The Federal incentives in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 would provide an estimated $509 million in savings to Kansas over two years if Medicaid were expanded to low-income adults under the terms of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and would extend KanCare  to 150,000 low income adults and children.

Medical marijuana is legal in Oklahoma, Missouri and Colorado. Yes if you live in Johnson County you may just cross the state line to obtain it but what if you live in Great Bend. The medical efficacy is proven so why must Kansas continue to ban it.

Norm Mallicoat is retired telecom engineer who has worked for United Telecom, Sprint, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia and Kharafi National and the US Army. Married to Harriet (Hatsie) Mallicoat for 40 years this September with three children.
